A significant architect and builder, Hattie Panacek, has created a modular building system that has been popular for urban planners looking to capture sturdy old world charm.
“Modern buildings are beautiful,” said an urban designer at Grace Development Agency, “but you need historic and classic structures to really let people feel a city. Ex Machina (link) creates low prim structures that can easily populate a historic district.”
Hattie’s shop, Ex Machina, hasn’t just been popular with planners. It is being used in St. Petersburg (Saint Pete City), and with the famous photographer, Neva Xenga (link).
