Big Developments at Wright Brothers Regional
There are big developments happening at Wright Brothers Regional Airfield in Jade from several of the manufacturers there.
The first of which is Husky Aviation, which has early models of craft on display at the Laminar Systems hangar (link), including a Falcon 7, a powerful regional passenger jet that is likely to displace many in operation today.
Their previous jet, the CRJ-700 has received several awards for its innovative design and electrical components. It tied with ZSK this year for the coveted WBA prize, Best In Air.
Next is a cooperation between Astal Tek and ZSK for a recreation of the B17 bomber (link). This may be ZSK’s most ambitious project to date, but the two companies are known for creating detailed craft and it is expected to be very popular.
Other developments at the airport include some new transportation options for pilots and passengers, including some vintage vehicles from WW 2 by Astral Tek. Follow the links above to visit this airport.
