An ambulance was nearly called after customers and servers at the Sunny Fields diner (link under Airports) saw the Project 53 truck stop in front of their eatery.
Project 53 was the name of a bio-containment group Waterbank formed after several cities were infected by deadly viruses. It has been inactive since the bankruptcy of Waterbank led to the sale of some its departments.
“I bought the truck for a song,” said the new owner, “and the paint job looked cool so I kept it. Oh, yeah, and I get free parking everywhere.”
