Sail along the waters in Oyster and you’ll find picturesque “Pearl,” a dock on the water’s edge in one of the world’s most beautiful waterways. Sailors and recreational boaters often stop in for a crawfish boil or lobster roll, but may not realize that the site also has a high altitude airstrip at 310m. The small airport features one of the only known tower cafe, seen in the picture below.
Visitors are welcome and a place to rez is available. Pilots should be aware that the approach is at 310m. Find the Pearl here (link).
