The city of Lansing has seen a rise in construction as the demand for more commercial space has led to a number of new developments.
“Real estate values are rising,” said an Economics Professor at Waterbank University, “and that’s good for business.”
Another professor at Waterbank University expressed concern. “How the rising values of the commercial district will affect the other parts of town is concerning,” said a Sociology Professor. “It’s likely to put more financial pressure on the slums, and lead to greater crime.”
