In a surprise move this week, Joint Air Station Blake Sea has signed a contract with security giant HitCorp International to operate the base bar as well as provide base security and fire prevention services for the installation. According to Command Master Chief DaveDorm Gaffer, this contract was a perfect match.
“Their professionalism is unmatched,” said Gaffer, “and we can now focus on more important things, such as the security threats in the Blake Sea and surrounding regions.”
Sources close to HitCorps are tight lipped on the specifics of the deal, and will not disclose the budgetary outlay the Navy has promised. But HCI will handle all ground security at the Air Station, fire department services, EMS, and harbor patrol. “Their job stops at the gangway of the Nimitz, said Gaffer with a smile. “That’s our job.”
